                             Final score: 91 (UBC) - 81 (SSS)

From the UBC side, they were down early but with outstanding performances across the board with 4 out of the 5 players hitting double figures 

  • #6 Nick chipped in offensively and played some tenacious defense. He finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists 
  • #14 Jack outperformed everyone, doing multiple things across the board. He finished with 32 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals 
  • #4 Suk tied the game up before UBC finally took the lead and won the game. He finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals

From the SSS side, they took an early lead on UBC but couldn’t hold on. It was an overall team effort with 5 players hitting double figures but unfortunately couldn’t hold off a strong opponent

  • #11 Niko played an exceptional game, shooting the ball very well. He finished the game with 15 points (3 three-pointers), 6 rebounds, and 2 assists 
  • #0 Donte helped his team across all aspects of the game. He finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals 
  • #00 Harry also helped his team across all aspects of the game. He finished with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals 
  • #3 Josh played his game from inside the arc, getting into the paint and knocking down mid-range jumpers. He finished with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals 
  • #000 Roshan tied Niko with a game-high 15 points along with 4 rebounds and 2 steals

                                    Final score: 83 (Jah) - 85 (Stallions)

From Jah’s side of the ball, they took an 8 point lead going into half-time but ultimately couldn’t hang on in the end as they ended up losing this game by 2 points

  • #19 team captain Antonio finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.
  • #10 Luca scored 20 points and added 3 rebounds and 3 assists.

From the Stallions’ side of the ball, their perseverance kept them in the game and allowed them to make a huge comeback, ending the night with a win

  • An overall team effort that helped sparked the comeback but a couple of players stood out exceptionally well
  • #6 Brodie played an outstanding game, filling the stats sheet. He finished with a team-high 21 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals 
  • #34 team captain Roger lead the charge from a leadership standpoint, while also chipping in offensively. He finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal 
  • #44 Luis chipped in offensively and on the glass. He finished with 12 points and 8 rebounds

                                      Final score: 71 (TTP) - 62 (Wolves)

From the Huskies’ side, they had contributions from every player across the boards. Some players to keep an eye out for: 

  • #8 Ahmed played a spectacular game by helping out the team across all aspects. He finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals 
  • #5 Jaydon shot the ball well from behind the arc. He finished with 13 points (4 three-pointers) and 3 rebounds 
  • #1 Edzou played some solid defense while chipping in offensively. He finished with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals 
  • #4 Mark got to his spots and knocked down some shots/layups. He finished with 12 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and 1 steal

From TTP’s side, it was an onslaught from 3 players who filled up the stats sheet 

  • #3 Omid dominated the glass tonight with 14 rebounds. Alongside the 14 rebounds, he added in 8 points and 2 assists 
  • #9 Reid dominated offensively alongside #2 Owen. He scored 26 points (4 three pointers) and 2 steals 
  • #2 Owen Cutler filled up the stats sheet across the board and scored a team-high 28 points. He had 28 points (4 three pointers), 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals 
  • #7 team captain Anza chipped in offensively. Finishing with 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal

                             Final score: 66 (buddy guys) - 45 (Wolves)

Buddy guys took an early lead and never looked back. They had contributions from players across the board.

  • #19 team captain Antonio had a huge game as he lead the charge for team Buddy Guys. He had 26 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals 
  • #11 Malik chipped in offensively and on the glass. He finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist 
  • #13 Harman also chipped in offensively and on the glass while playing some stellar defense. Finishing with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals

The Wolves had a rough 1st game but battled hard till the very end. They had contributions from multiple players

  • #21 Shaun made an impact on the glass. He finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds  
  • #5 Chris made some plays for the team, contributing across all aspects. He finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 steals 
  • #7 Will chipped in a bit on the offensive side of the ball. He finished with 9 points 
  • #23 Lucas shot the ball well especially from behind the arc. He finished with 12 points (4-4 from distance), 5 rebounds, and 1 steal

        Final score: 73 (Malibu's Most Wanted) - 69 (Church of Buckets)

On the Malibu's side, #11 team captain Royce Sargaent filled up the stats sheet, dominating offensively and defensively while #8 Renz, #1 EJ, and #12 Harris chipped in to seal the victory

  • #11 team captain Royce Sargaent finished the game with 30 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals 
  • #8 Renz played stellar defense while providing a bit of a spark on the offensive end. Finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal
  • #1 EJ scored 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal 
  • #12 Harris hit a late 3 in transition to extend team white’s lead. Finishing with 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist

From the Church of Bucket's side, #20 Tristan Ordonez led the charge

  • #20 Tristan Ordonez finished with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal
  • #4 Zyken provided some additional size off the bench alongside Janna and really impacted the game from both ends of the floor. Finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals 
  • #15 Arnel sparked the early comeback for team black with his pace and tenacious defense, grabbing steals and pushing the ball ahead to get some easy transition points. Finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals 
  • #5 Jay Cruz provided some outside shooting although struggling to find his stroke early on in the game. However, late in the game, he found his form and hit three 3’s to keep team black in this tightly contested game. Finished with 11 points and 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals

                            Final score: 66 (Wildcats) - 63 (All-Canadians)

On the wildcat’s side, three players imprinted on the game from an offensive standpoint.

  • Wildcats #00 Ryan Yeung started to take over the game with two 3’s and a couple of layups including a tough and1 to swing the momentum in favor of the Wildcats. Finished the game with 21 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 3 for 6 from behind the arc
  • (no number) Michael scored 21 points, displayed some lethal shooting, 5 for 5 from behind the arc. 
  • #33 team captain Garth Anderson did a bit of everything, serving as a dominant big man who could score, defend, and rebound for the wildcats. He finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals

Early offense from the starting center for the All-Canadians #24 Brett Carey with 8 points. He eventually finished the game with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Outside of him, it was a balanced attack from the All-Canadians roster with multiple players chipping in.

  • #14 Mark had a huge task of controlling the tempo and running the offense for the All-Canadians. Finished with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists 
  • #12 (no name) started off cold but played well towards the end. Finished with 9 points, 2 rebounds, and shot 3-8 from behind the arc 
  • #2 Jordan Taylor was a huge communicator on the defensive end for the All-Canadians. Finished with 7 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals 
  • #20 team captain AJ Imperial took over late with 8 points to trim a 10 point deficit with 2 minutes left down to 2. Finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists
