In a Week 4 match-up between the Agaveros and Raptors, the game boiled down to experience over youth. In the first half Pepe Vega set the pace with eight points out the gate and Luis Valenzuela controlled the paint with seven rebounds giving the Agaveros a 32-29 lead to close the period.

In the second half, the Raptors showed strength, regained the lead and held it going into to last stretch of the game. But, the Agaveros Pepe Vega stepped up and scored 8 of his 14 points in the last two minutes to help give the Agaveros their second win on the season 64-56.

The Stallions came to play against the Huskies after a Week 3 loss. The Stallions had a well balanced scoring game led by Jit Locham (16) and Roger Sheung who added 14 points to close out the Huskies 82-48. Lead guards Jamal Mullings and Mark Mitchell led the way for the Huskies scoring 32 of their 48 points on the night.

It was another tightly contested match-up between the Grizzlies and Family Guys. The scoring from both teams were back and forth throughout the entire first half until the Grizzlies went on a 8-0 run to close the half taking a 30-22 lead.

In the second half, Max Neuman of the Family Guys led the way giving his team a huge lift to bring them back within two in the remaining four minutes of the game. A few consecutive buckets from Josh Melton and clutch free throws from Cam Mowat allowed the Grizzlies to get the edge, eventually taking the W 55-51.

Live from week 4, it’s was a battle of the unbeaten’s with Reign vs Night Hoops. Reign charged all through the first half as the lead team with Demi Harris and Ethan Scott leading the way for their team. Demi led with 12 and Ethan added 10 to close the first half 48-43.

In the second half, Night Hoops stormed back led by Garth Anderson’s hot shooting, the sharp shooter made seven  3-point shots going 7 for 9 from three on the night. His teammate Anthony Demch controlled the pace down the stretch with 10 points 8 rebounds and 5 assist to go on and close out the game 94-90 to give Reign their first lost.

The first game on the night at Court # 5 started with a heavy rain of 3s, both teams were going back and forth in the first five minutes of the game with most of the points scored coming from behind the three-point line. Derek Sing had a great first half, grabbing 4 boards in the first half and converting those boards in buckets at the other end, he helped give The Party a nice 17-point cushion at the half.

Will Johnson sparked The Party right out of the gate in the second half with a 6-0 run. Kevin Khungay once again went to work in the second half scoring in the paint and forcing four turnovers in a row to bring The Bucket Getters closer in the scoreboard, however his 23 points in the game was not enough to catch up to The Party which grabbed their third win in a row.

The Week 4 match-up was a tough one for The Squad against Kawhi So SRS. The Squad would give it their all, but Kawhi So Srs had the hot hand and would take the 69-29 victory. Kawhi So Srs would finish with multiple players in double figures powering them to the win.

Nothin but Net-flix started very aggressively in the first half, Alex Fane gave a great defensive effort grabbing four boards for Cushman with Inder Grewal also coming up with some buckets and finishing the half with six points to help get a five point lead for the Cushman Skyscrapers with 10 minutes to play in the first half. On the other end, Kenny Kao had a great effort in the paint as well as getting a triple to help Nothin’ but Net-flix secure the lead at the half.

David Yap started the 2nd half on fire from behind the 3-point line scoring 9 points in 2 minutes which boosted the team to play more defensively which Ryan Dela Torre was leading the way on that end. Travis Zou kept going strong in the second half for the Skyscrapers knocking down two threes in a row and dishing three assists, but at that point it was too late for the Skyscrapers to come back, as Nothin’ but Net-flix would take the W.

Swat got away with a late win over Ball Don’t Stop. Yingzhe Tao of Ball Don’t Stop Much had a huge game for his team to stay within reach but it would Pepijin Van Ede to lead the SWAT late run to take the 72-61 victory Monday night.

The third game of the night at Court #5 started with Matthew Anza attacking the paint right off the bat scoring the first six points for TTP. Mack Falk answered with a three and Cole James got his first bucket of the game from deep to start the game for All Trouble, but once Omid Toussi got it going at the post, he kept out scoring opposition in the paint to finish the first half with a 20-point lead for TTP.

Omid stayed aggressive and kept getting buckets in the paint to finish the game with 38 points and 5 boards. Mack Falk and Colton Bakken tried to bring it back for their team with a 12- 4 run for All Trouble, but it was not enough. All Trouble had no answer for the fast pace and the intense play in the paint from TTP who would take the victory.

The All Canadians moved to 2-2 on the season with a win over Banana Boat Crew. Banana Boat Crew for some time throughout the game but midway through the second half Joseph Lui of the All Canadians led his team to a 20-point victory, scoring 18 points.

The Underdogs started the game with a 6-0 run with two steals within the first three minutes. Jordan Serjue and Ahmed  Mohamud went on an 11 – 0 run for the Underdogs in the first 10 minutes. Ahmed scored 15 points from behind the line in the first half. The OT Bandits would finish the half strong but trailed at the break.

The OT Bandits started the second half with a couple of buckets having a great effort by Pep Llado and Per grabbing four boards and getting it done in the paint. Pep got back in the scoring board with a couple of threes at the end of the second half but it wasn’t enough for a comeback, the Underdogs lit it up from deep in the second half, Abdi Mohamud and Ibrahim  Warsame went on a 15 - 6 run to end the half and grab the third win of the season for the Underdogs.
